MAX Trauma

The MAX Simulator (Traumatology model) by Pro Delphus is designed for training in orthognathic interventions and oral maxillofacial trauma. It features a male head model with articulated components such as the oral cavity, palate, tongue, nerves, vessels, and facial structures. The simulator allows for realistic practice of fracture corrections and surgical techniques like plate application, screw placement, and orbit support. Available in multiple configurations, it supports facial polytrauma scenarios, subcondylar fractures, and more, offering a highly customizable training experience.

Get to know the anatomic and surgical realism of the MAX simulator.

The Pro Delphus MAX simulator system, TRAUMATOLOGY model, was developed for training in orthognathic interventions and oral maxillofacial trauma. It allows for understanding the surgical landmarks of the face during correction surgeries.

MAX-1T Components and Spare Parts:

The surgical units are composed of a male head with articulated components, including:

  • Oral cavity
  • Palate
  • Tongue
  • Oropharynx
  • Dental arch
  • Lips
  • Muscular structures
  • Nerves and vessels
  • Orbital cavity and eyes

Fractures that can be included:

  • Condylar fractures
  • Maxilla fractures
  • Mandible fractures
  • Zygomatic fractures
  • Peri and infraorbital lesions
  • Other fractures of the face and skull

It can be used to teach the application of plates, screws, and artificial tissues for orbit support. Regular instruments and synthesis artifacts from real surgery are required, also allowing for final radiographic control.

4 Different Types of Surgical Units Available:

  1. Politrauma – Facial polytrauma with up to 7 fractures, used for surgical correction of fractures or orthognathic surgery

  2. Anatomical – No pre-existing fractures, offering the possibility to teach regular techniques of the proposed surgery

  3. Subcondylar – Skull with mandible and bilateral subcondylar fracture

  4. Zygomatic – Skull with bilateral zygomatic fractures, frontal sinus fracture with mucosa, parasymphysis jaw fracture on the right side, and subcondylar fracture on the left
